Camping at Lake Roosevelt

We headed out to the Gifford Campground after I got off work Sunday evening.
Checking out the camping snacks :)

Watching the ferry that takes cars back and forth
across the Columbia River right near where we were setting up camp.

Bennett "helping" set up the tent.

We only camped for one night because Erik had to leave for work the next day, and it was so hot that we only spent the morning at the campsite before packing up to head to a better beach to stay cool for the day.

He was pretty much this dirty for 100% of the trip!

That is Bennett's "Mom please stop taking pictures of me" face :)

He loved helping his Uncle Carl with getting the logs ready for the fire.

LOTS of exploring to be done!

Sawyer has always been such a little monkey.

Sawyer PASSED OUT on the way to the beach!
We played for the rest of the day at Bradbury Beach just north of where we camped.
We got to watch float planes all day going around and around and around and around and around filling up with water from the lake to help fight the nearby wildfires.
A good time was had by all :)
