"Praying for Boys" ~ End of the Month Wrap-Up

"We've lost some of the 'honor of a name' as a society,

but I think if we tell our stories to our children,

we can work to get it back.

Have you ever sat down with your son 

and told him your family story?  

A this-is-who-we-are story 

gives a boy something to live up to 

and can help him measure his 

behavior, 

goals, 

and priorities

in light of your family's values.

My husband and I are working hard

to create a vision for our sons 

of the importance of doing the right thing

because it honors God 

and, well,

just because it's the right thing to do.
